English language requirement met in a previous application
To be granted a Student Visa in the UK, you must be awarded 70 points in total, 10 of which for meeting the English language requirement.
You must show English language ability on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages in all 4 components (reading, writing, speaking and listening) of at least level B2, where you are studying a course at UK bachelor’s degree level or above, or level B1, where you are studying a pre-sessional course or a course below UK bachelor’s degree level.
You will meet the English language requirement if you have already shown that you met the requirement, at the level required for your current application, in a previous successful application for entry clearance or permission to stay.
