If your application is refused
If your application is refused, you can apply for an Administrative Review.
Administrative Review will consider whether the decision is wrong due to a case working error. A case working error occurs, for example, where the decision maker applied the Immigration Rules incorrectly or failed to apply the Secretary of State’s relevant published policy and guidance in relation to your application.
Where your Administrative Review succeeds, the decision is withdrawn.
If your Administrative Review does not succeed, the decision remains in force, but the reasons given for the decision may be maintained or not (in which case one or more of the reasons given for the decision may be withdrawn, and different or additional reasons to those specified in the decision under review may be added).
